Karen Tezak is a multi-media artist based in Southern California and currently living in Ojai, California.   Her work is influenced by the beauty and complexity of the natural interpreting its mystical qualities of the imagination.  She works in both oil and acrylic and often incorporates thin pieces of wood in the paintings lending a sculptural dimension to the work.  Geometry, pattern and symbolic images are often part of her work.
